And I want to be honest and open about what this process means.

We so often see the celebratory posts announcing book deals and prize-winning and it’s easy to forget about the messiness, and vulnerability, and disappointments.

I wrote this essay a few months ago and I’ve put it behind a paywall because I’m sharing a vulnerable and unresolved aspect of my life. And I only feel okay to do that within a defined space, which you are very welcome to join. xx
